Written by Allen Vizzutti, this is a fantastic piece for infusing Jazz into a concert band program.
It's a great framework for the soloist to work with, leaving plenty of room for improvisation.

This recording is from January, 2007 with the Hamasho high school concert band at 'Act City Music Hall' in Hamamatsu, Japan. I've had the pleasure of performing with Hamasho two years in a row. They're one of the most disciplined, hard-working bands I've ever seen, and their director, Mr. Saiki is one of the greatest, most dedicated band directors I've ever met. It was a real joy to work with this group!
